Named for the home of its co-creators, Mineville Wool Project is the brainchild of Fleece Artist’s Kathryn Thomas and Emily Dempsey. Artisanthropy is pleased to support this company, based in Nova Scotia, and their unique products. Mineville offers a unique opportunity on a monthly basis, as their products are never duplicated. Their yarn base is primarily wools, some alpacas, and a few blends, and are sold in untwisted hanks. Mineville’s colours are either natural, or pre-hand-dyed; each hand-dyed colour is one of a kind, and they come in solids, tonals, and variegated. Artisanthropy will stock enough of a given colour for a sweater, or a smaller project, depending on your needs. With Mineville’s ever-changing products, you can be sure that your purchase from Artisanthropy will be truly unique.
