Orders to USA Paused Temporarily Due to Proposed Trump Tariffs

Dear American Neighbours,

As we are such a very small business, there is no way we are able to pay the 25% tariffs that Trump is proposing on exports we make to the USA. I have no idea how these tariffs would play out, and I'm not willing to risk you being burdened with such tariffs, as occurs whenever Canadians try to import anything from the USA.

Until we know more about whether these tariffs are going to occur, when, and in what manner they will happen, I'm pausing new orders to you, our visitors from the USA. We will do our absolute best to get everything over the border to you prior to February 1st, and after that - we will simply have to wait and see.

Once they are in place, and we are familiar with how they work, should the recipient be the one who is covering the cost of the 25% tariffs, then we may consider re-opening ordering, with the stipulation that you would cover the tariffs. There's just simply no viable way that we would be able to cover these ourselves, and remain in business.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this stressful, difficult and trying time.
